Group CEO
Peter Faerber (Swiss citizen, born 1962, degrees in Engineering and in Economics & Business Management) joined CGS as CEO in February 2018. Peter started his professional career as design engineer for HVAC and Refrigeration systems.
After finishing his business degree, he held international roles in product management and marketing, sales and general management working for global solution providers to the building industry and for access control systems such as Hilti and dormakaba.
During his career Peter lived in seven different countries (US, EU, ME) and hold responsibilities in all major mature and emerging markets around the world. This cultural versatility enables him to be an effective leader who appreciates diversity whilst his Swiss roots influence his desire for high quality products, services and customer experience.
Group CFO
Muhammad Sadiq was born and educated in Karachi, Pakistan. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a “Chartered Accountant” and “Cost and Management Accountant”.
He started his professional career with a four year training with Price Waterhouse Coopers and spend his first years in Auditing for PWC and internal Auditing for 2 KSA Group of Companies followed by leadership roles in finance. His last position was as Head of Finance for Wetico in Riyadh.
Muhammad brings a vast experience in financial & commercial management, business valuation, bank financing, strategic planning & budgeting, cost control, ERP implementation, corporate expansion, re-structuring and turnaround. He is a very hands-on leader who has successfully concluded key projects for former employers and had to overcome challenging situations in diverse operational environments.
GM - Engineering & Production
Helmi Fayad (Palestinian citizen, born in Beirut 1967, holding Electrical Engineering degree and joined CGS in 2000.
Helmi started his professional career as Telecommunication Engineer for companies in Beirut who were involved with construction sectors.
Career growth for Helmi was steady and involved in many innovative projects for CGS, presently Helmi holds the position of General Manager for Engineering & Production (EP) wing of CGS
GM Human Resources
Feras B Aljumma, by holding Bachelor's degree, Economics & Administration joined CGS as HR Manager back in 2011
With more than fifteen years of of hands-on experience with accountability for all aspects of Human Resources and personnel administration such as Talent Acquisition, Career Development, Planning, Performance Management, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits, and a strong comprehension of the Saudi Labor Law.
Feras though his vast experience and knowledge, able to manage changes and deal with ambiguous situations and demonstrate Leadership skills, including proven success in building and leading a team of high performing HR professionals.
Feras plays a major role in organizing and prioritizing the various HR functions with successful record of accomplishments in delivering a diverse range of HR functions that supported the business in achieving organizational goals.
GM Sales
Tomas Gerare Quinn (Irish citizen, born 1977, degree in Engineering & Marketing) Joined CGS in June 2010
Tom started his Carrier with CGS as Workshop Manager in our Riyadh Branch, later on took additional responsibility for its Carrier Transicold Division as Head of the Department.
Responsibilities and new job profiles keeps on adding to Tom’s carrier growth in CGS and later was promoted to GM for our Dammam and Bahrain Branches. At present Tom holds the title of GM-Sales for CGS Group.
GM Refrigeration
Jalal Alfar, Jordanian Nationality with holding BSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering joined CGS as GM Refrigeration in Jan 2020.
Jalal started his professional career as a maintenance engineer after finishing his BSc. Degree he held various role like client representative for new build projects and maintenance manager for Coldstores, and later as a General Manager for multinational refrigeration company where he built and develop their Egyptian operation.
GM Automotive
Andrew Wilson (British citizen born 1967, degree in Engineering and Business Management) joined CGS as General Manager Automotive in 2022.
Andrew started his career in Transport Refrigeration in 1987 as a Refrigeration Technician and has subsequently worked for the top global solution providers in and around the Middle East. His roles have encompassed technical product support, training and sales and service management.
Andrew brings with him a lifetime of experience in the Transport Refrigeration industry in the Middle East and will head up the Automotive Division of CGS. His new role will include the management of all after market activities along with the development of new service strategies around the Kingdom
