Brief JD: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of refrigerated transport units (reefer units). This role includes setting up new units, ensuring optimal cooling performance.
New Installations: Install and set up new reefer units, ensuring proper
mounting, electrical connections, and system configuration for optimal
cooling efficiency.
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and
emergency repairs on reefer units to ensure long-term reliability.
System Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with
compressors, evaporators, control systems, and electrical components in
reefer units.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and environmental
regulations when handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations,
maintenance activities, and repairs in accordance with company policies
and regulatory standards.
Education: Diploma in Refrigeration Technology, HVAC, or related
field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience with refrigerated transport units, including new installations and maintenance.
Skills:
Expertise in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting refrigeration and
electrical systems in reefer units.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for
installation and repairs.
Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools for refrigeration
systems.
